Happily, 2013 and 2014 have seen an increase in my accountancy sector consultancy.
The significant work I did for haysmacintyre (www.haysmacintyre.com) between 2005 and 2011 (including a major client satisfaction research project, covering the maternity leave of the BD Manager, competitive tendering, sales process management and social media for which the firm was shortlisted for a CIM Excellence Award) precluded me from working strategically with similar firms for a while but I have been able to work with other firms recently.
In 2013, I produced a number of workshops on integrated campaign management and social media for KPMG. And I have been doing some one-to-one coaching – both for domestic and international markets – at Buzzacott & Co. One of the branches of The Chartered Institute of Taxation invited me to provide an intensive session on “Social media for the reluctant accountant” which was deemed a great success.
Haines Watts – But much time was spent over the past two years working with Haines Watts across the UK on both training programmes (particularly persuasive writing and social media) and a major project on client satisfaction and key account management (KAM).
Following previous training and coaching programmes for the in-house marketing team Lane Clark & Peacock (www.lcp.uk.com) actuaries and consultants, during 2013 and 2014 I returned to provide sales, pitching and presentation training to consultants in the London and Winchester offices including pensions administration and insurance consulting teams.
